Το Theatre of the No, φιλοξενεί την Χριστίνα Συριοπούλου και το κουαρτέτο της, σε μια ξεχωριστή βραδιά αφιερωμένη στην τζαζ μουσική. Την Τετάρτη 13 Μαΐου στις 21:00, θα παρουσιάσουν ένα δυναμικό πρόγραμμα με επιλεγμένα jazz standards και πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις. Στη σκηνή θα βρεθεί επίσης το φωνητικό σύνολο Webop Voices, το οποίο θα παρουσιάσει ένα αντιπροσωπευτικό δείγμα της δουλειάς του, λίγο πριν την επερχόμενη μεγάλη συναυλία του.
Η βραδιά θα κορυφωθεί με ένα ανοιχτό jam session, προσκαλώντας μουσικούς και τραγουδιστές να συμμετάσχουν ενεργά. Τραγουδιστές της τζαζ μπορούν να ερμηνεύσουν αγαπημένα jazz standards, ενώ instrumentalists και tap dancers είναι ευπρόσδεκτοι να ανέβουν στη σκηνή και να μοιραστούν τον παλμό της αυτοσχεδιαστικής δημιουργίας.

Η house band της βραδιάς αποτελείται από τους Μάνο Ταβλάκη, Παναγιώτη Μπουραζάνη και Βαγγέλη Κοτζάμπαση.
Η Χριστίνα Συριοπούλου είναι μία από τις πιο ενεργές και πολυσχιδείς παρουσίες της ελληνικής τζαζ σκηνής. Τραγουδίστρια, συνθέτρια, πιανίστρια και εκπαιδευτικός, δραστηριοποιείται τόσο στη ζωντανή μουσική όσο και στον ακαδημαϊκό χώρο, έχοντας διατελέσει, μεταξύ άλλων, βοηθός καθηγήτρια στο Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο.
Έχει συνεργαστεί με σημαντικούς μουσικούς, όπως ο Γιώργος Κοντραφούρης (Groove Messengers) και ο Δημήτρης Καλαντζής, ενώ έχει εμφανιστεί σε σημαντικές σκηνές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, σε πόλεις όπως η Αθήνα, η Θεσσαλονίκη, η Ζυρίχη, το Άμστερνταμ, το Βερολίνο και το Μονπελιέ. Το 2018 παρουσίασε την πρώτη της ολοκληρωμένη δισκογραφική δουλειά με τίτλο Core Consciousness. Πρόσφατα δημιούργησε το καλλιτεχνικό της alter ego Atticat, μέσα από το οποίο παρουσιάζει πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις με σύγχρονο και προσωπικό ύφος, έχοντας ήδη κυκλοφορήσει το EP Musicophilia και ένα single.
Παράλληλα, είναι μέλος των Dirty Granny Tales, trainee της ομάδας performance Almacalma με δάσκαλο τον Ιωάννη Μήτρου, ενώ το 2024 ίδρυσε το φωνητικό σύνολο Webop Voices, παρουσιάζοντας δικά της arrangements σε jazz, soul, bossa nova και gospel, καθώς και πρωτότυπα έργα που εξερευνούν τη συλλογική φωνητική έκφραση. Σύντομα αναμένεται η κυκλοφορία του πρώτου προσωπικού της άλμπουμ, σε συνεργασία με τον κιθαρίστα Μάνο Ταβλάκη.

Theatre of the NO welcomes Christina Syriopoulou and her quartet for a distinctive evening dedicated to jazz. On Wednesday, May 13 at 21:00, the ensemble will present a vibrant program of carefully selected jazz standards alongside original compositions, highlighting Syriopoulou’s unique artistic voice.
Joining the evening, the vocal ensemble Webop Voices will offer a special preview of their work ahead of their upcoming major performance, showcasing their rich harmonic approach and contemporary vocal arrangements.
The night will conclude with an open jam session, inviting musicians and vocalists to take part. Jazz singers are encouraged to perform their favorite standards, while instrumentalists and tap dancers are welcome to step on stage and engage in the spontaneity of live improvisation. Bring your instruments and play that swing!

Christina Syriopoulou is a leading and multifaceted presence in the Greek jazz scene. A vocalist, composer, pianist, and educator, she maintains a strong presence both on stage and in academia, having served as an assistant professor at the Ionian University. She has collaborated extensively with acclaimed musicians such as Giorgos Kontrafouris (Groove Messengers) and Dimitris Kalantzis, and has performed at prominent venues across Greece and internationally, including Athens, Thessaloniki, Zurich, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Montpellier.
In 2018, she released her debut full-length project, Core Consciousness. She has since developed her artistic alter ego Atticat, presenting original material with a contemporary and distinctive aesthetic, including the EP Musicophilia and a single release.
In parallel, she is a member of Dirty Granny Tales and a trainee with the performance group Almacalma under the direction of Ioannis Mitrou. In 2024, she founded the vocal ensemble Webop Voices, through which she presents original arrangements in jazz, soul, bossa nova, and gospel, as well as new compositions exploring collective vocal expression. Her debut personal album, created in collaboration with guitarist Manos Tavlakis, is set for release soon.
